In response to the controversy, Hong Kong\u2019s Education Secretary Christine Choi encouraged local universities to admit more foreign students, particularly those affected by the U.S. decision. \u201cWe urge all universities to support outstanding students from around the world,\u201d she said in an official statement.<\/p>\n
