Alongside the central gathering, Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will hold separate meetings at their respective regional headquarters to observe the Eidul Adha moon sighting.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"636\" data-end=\"687\">Significance of Eidul Adha and Hajj Pilgrimage<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"689\" data-end=\"1120\">Eidul Adha, commonly known as the Feast of Sacrifice, falls on the 10th day of Zilhajj and is one of the two major Islamic festivals celebrated worldwide.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"689\" data-end=\"1120\">This year, Eidul Adha is expected to be observed on Saturday, the 7th of Zilhajj.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"689\" data-end=\"1120\">The festival honors the profound devotion of Prophet Ibrahim, who was willing to sacrifice his son in obedience to God\u2019s command. This event is commemorated annually by Muslims around the world.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1122\" data-end=\"1371\">Millions of Muslims simultaneously participate in the Hajj pilgrimage in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, during this period, fulfilling one of the five pillars of Islam. The pilgrimage holds immense religious significance and spiritual value for the faithful.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1373\" data-end=\"1414\">Traditions of Eidul Adha Celebration<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1416\" data-end=\"1842\">A central tradition of Eidul Adha is the ritual slaughtering of sacrificial animals, such as goats, sheep, cows, or camels.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1416\" data-end=\"1842\">The meat from these animals is distributed among family members, friends, and especially the poor and needy, emphasizing charity and community support.
