{"id":1312,"date":"2025-05-27T07:52:39","date_gmt":"2025-05-27T07:52:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/youdigital.pk\/en\/?p=1312"},"modified":"2025-05-27T07:52:39","modified_gmt":"2025-05-27T07:52:39","slug":"nadia-hussain-appears-in-court-over-rs530-million-bank-fraud-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/youdigital.pk\/en\/2025\/05\/27\/nadia-hussain-appears-in-court-over-rs530-million-bank-fraud-case","title":{"rendered":"Nadia Hussain Appears in Court Over Rs530 Million Bank Fraud Case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"176\" data-end=\"497\"><strong data-start=\"176\" data-end=\"190\">ISLAMABAD:<\/strong> Pakistani actress Nadia Hussain appeared before the Additional District and Sessions Judge South at the City Court in connection with a Rs530 million bank fraud case.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"176\" data-end=\"497\">Alongside her, co-accused Faisal and Imtiaz also faced the court regarding allegations of financial misconduct involving a private company.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"499\" data-end=\"551\">Details of the Allegations and Court Proceedings<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"553\" data-end=\"1138\">According to the prosecution, Faisal and Imtiaz were responsible for signing cheques which were subsequently deposited into an account held by Atif Khan, the company\u2019s chief executive.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"553\" data-end=\"1138\">The trio allegedly conspired to embezzle funds, causing significant financial damage to the company.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"553\" data-end=\"1138\">Faisal and Imtiaz held senior financial positions in the company, receiving monthly salaries of Rs250,000 and Rs300,000, respectively.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"553\" data-end=\"1138\">The lawyers for the company claimed that Atif Khan diverted Rs530 million into his personal business interests, resulting in a loss of Rs400 million to the company.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1140\" data-end=\"1308\">The prosecution urged the court to cancel the interim bail of the accused, arguing that the severity of the case and the financial losses warranted strict legal action.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1310\" data-end=\"1349\">Defence Arguments and Court Verdict<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1351\" data-end=\"1687\">Advocate Muhammad Farooq, representing Nadia Hussain, denied any active involvement of the actress in the alleged fraud.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1351\" data-end=\"1687\">He stated that Nadia Hussain was being unfairly implicated as a beneficiary without clear evidence or explanation of her role.
