ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has reiterated that his party played a crucial role in strengthening Pakistan\u2019s defence capabilities and advancing missile technology, contrasting sharply with the previous government\u2019s performance.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking to the media outside his residence in London, Nawaz Sharif highlighted the party\u2019s achievements in national development and security.<\/p>\n

Nawaz Sharif proudly mentioned that under PML-N\u2019s tenure, Pakistan carried out successful nuclear explosions and collaborated with China to build JF-17 Thunder fighter aircraft. \u201cWe gave missile technology to Pakistan, and significantly enhanced the country\u2019s defence,\u201d he said. He expressed gratitude for the recent election victory, emphasizing that people continue to trust PML-N due to its tangible work.<\/p>\n

Emphasizing Development and Stability<\/h3>\n

Nawaz Sharif pointed out that the country\u2019s economy is gradually improving under PML-N\u2019s efforts. \u201cDuring our government, the rupee remained stable for four years, and the growth rate touched 7%,\u201d he said, underscoring the need for political work that benefits the people.<\/p>\n

He stressed that political parties earn votes through effective governance and development, not merely rhetoric.<\/p>\n

The PML-N leader also highlighted that the nation\u2019s conditions are steadily returning to stability, and overall development is progressing. \u201cEverything is improving step by step,\u201d he added, reinforcing the party\u2019s commitment to the country\u2019s future.<\/p>\n

Nawaz Sharif\u2019s Stay in London<\/h3>\n

Nawaz Sharif arrived at London Luton Airport aboard a special plane, accompanied by his son Hassan Nawaz and his personal physician.<\/p>\n

During his stay, the former prime minister will undergo a comprehensive medical examination.<\/p>\n
