ISLAMABAD: The US State Department reaffirmed on Wednesday that President Donald Trump is determined to work toward resolving the longstanding Kashmir conflict.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This follows Trump\u2019s role in brokering a ceasefire between India and Pakistan during their recent intense military clashes.<\/p>\n

In a message praising both countries\u2019 leaders for achieving peace, Trump stated his willingness to try to find a solution to the Kashmir issue \u201cafter a thousand years.\u201d<\/p>\n

At a White House press briefing, State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said she could not disclose specific plans but emphasized Trump\u2019s unique ability to bring unlikely parties to the negotiating table.<\/p>\n

Bruce expressed hope that the Kashmir dispute, which has caused generations of tension, could finally be addressed under Trump\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n

She also highlighted recent diplomatic engagements, including meetings between a Pakistani delegation led by<\/p>\n
