ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman and former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has warned that India\u2019s continued refusal to engage in talks with Pakistan will ultimately damage regional peace and backfire on New Delhi\u2019s own interests.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In an interview with German broadcaster DW Urdu during a visit to Brussels, Bilawal emphasized that comprehensive dialogue is the only way to resolve all outstanding issues between the two countries.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf India does not come to the table, it will not be in their favour,\u201d he stated plainly.<\/p>\n

Water Dispute is a \u2018Red Line\u2019<\/h3>\n

Bilawal issued a stern warning against any Indian attempt to block Pakistan\u2019s water supply, calling it an existential threat to the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cWater is our lifeline,\u201d he said. \u201cIf India resorts to water aggression, Pakistan will be left with no choice but war.\u201d<\/p>\n

He accused India of violating the Indus Waters Treaty and international law, including the United Nations Charter, by issuing veiled threats to disrupt Pakistan\u2019s water resources.<\/p>\n

While reaffirming Pakistan\u2019s desire for peace, Bilawal made it clear that national security and water rights are non-negotiable.<\/p>\n

Global Diplomacy in Motion<\/h3>\n

Bilawal is currently leading a high-level delegation in Europe, appointed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif following the recent ceasefire with India.<\/p>\n

The delegation\u2019s mandate is to present Pakistan\u2019s perspective on India\u2019s recent aggression and call for international support to ensure lasting peace in South Asia.<\/p>\n

He urged world powers to push India toward dialogue to resolve long-standing disputes, including Kashmir, terrorism, and water security.<\/p>\n

Despite India’s alleged support for terrorism within Pakistan, Bilawal emphasized that Islamabad has always sought peace rather than military confrontation.<\/p>\n

Pakistan plans to send more diplomatic missions globally to raise awareness of India\u2019s violations and Pakistan\u2019s stance on the Indus Waters Treaty.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
