KARACHI: The sea breeze returned to Karachi last night, providing much-needed relief from several days of intense heat, the Met Office reported on Wednesday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Despite the breeze, hot and humid conditions will continue to dominate the city\u2019s weather, with temperatures currently at 33\u00b0C and expected to rise as high as 40\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

Humidity levels remain high, making the heat feel even more severe for residents.<\/p>\n

Southwestern winds are blowing at a moderate speed of 15 kilometers per hour, helping to ease the discomfort caused by the heat.<\/p>\n

Drizzling Forecast for Karachi\u2019s Outskirts and Tomorrow\u2019s Weather<\/strong><\/h3>\n

According to the Met Office, light drizzling is likely in the outskirts of Karachi this evening.<\/p>\n

On June 19, the city itself may see drizzling in both the morning and evening hours.<\/p>\n

The first monsoon spell for Karachi is anticipated to begin on June 25, marking the onset of seasonal rains.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Met Office has issued warnings for extremely hot weather across most plains in Pakistan from June 18 to 20.<\/p>\n

Rainfall Recorded in Other Regions<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Recent rainfall was recorded in southeastern Sindh, with Mithi receiving 31mm, Nagar Parkar 30mm, Islam Kot 14mm, and Diplo 6mm.<\/p>\n

Thunderstorms accompanied rain in some areas of Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit Baltistan.<\/p>\n

Residents are advised to stay updated with weather forecasts as the monsoon season approaches.<\/p>\n
