Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has officially resumed flight operations to key Gulf destinations \u2014 Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Dubai \u2014 following the recent Iran-Israel ceasefire and signs of stabilisation in the Persian Gulf region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The airline had earlier halted<\/a> its operations in response to escalating regional tensions and airspace safety concerns.<\/p>\n

Delays Continue Despite Restart<\/h4>\n

Although flights have restarted, operational delays are still being experienced across Pakistan\u2019s major airports including Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.<\/p>\n

Over 55 flights have faced delays, with some exceeding 10 hours.<\/p>\n

PIA’s spokesperson urged passengers to stay in touch via the airline\u2019s call center for real-time updates, stating that the reservation department is actively working to rebook travelers affected by cancellations.<\/p>\n

\u201cSafety remains our top priority. We regret the inconvenience caused and appreciate the patience of our passengers,\u201d the airline said.<\/p>\n

Cancellations and Notable Delays<\/h4>\n

Despite resumed operations, several flights remain canceled, such as:<\/p>\n

    Eight outbound flights from Karachi to Jeddah, Doha, and Istanbul<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Two Dubai-bound flights from Karachi operated by foreign carriers<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Five Lahore flights to Sharjah, Muscat, and Riyadh<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Two Bahrain to Islamabad flights: 4-hour delay each<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
