ISLAMABAD: President Donald Trump has reignited concerns over the US commitment to NATO as he attends the alliance\u2019s summit in The Hague.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking to reporters, Trump questioned the definition of NATO\u2019s mutual defense clause, Article 5, while reaffirming his commitment to \u201clife and safety.\u201d<\/p>\n

This uncertainty has alarmed European allies already wary of Trump’s past skepticism toward the alliance.<\/p>\n

Mixed Signals on US Commitment<\/strong><\/p>\n

NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte insisted the US remains committed to NATO.<\/p>\n
