The messaging app, owned by Meta, is now allowing users to create &#8220;motion photos.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"390\" data-end=\"557\">This new feature is available in WhatsApp\u2019s Android beta version, enabling users to turn still images into motion photos, much like the iPhone\u2019s &#8220;Live Photos&#8221; feature.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"559\" data-end=\"793\">With this feature, a few seconds before and after the photo is taken will be included in the image, and sound can also be added. In simpler terms, this is more like a mini-video where things within the still photo will appear to move.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"795\" data-end=\"970\">Using the feature is quite easy. Simply open WhatsApp, go to the gallery, and click the motion icon at the top-left corner to use it and turn your photos into motion pictures.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"972\" data-end=\"1187\">However, as mentioned earlier, this feature is currently in the beta version and is only available to a limited number of users. For now, if users want to create moving images, they have to rely on third-party apps.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1189\" data-end=\"1398\">With this new feature, users will be able to create GIFs directly on WhatsApp and share them with friends.
