Skardu:\u00a0<\/strong>In Skardu, a region of Gilgit-Baltistan, the key Jaglot-Skardu road \u2014 which had been swept away by a flash flood at the Astak Nullah \u2014 has been successfully reopened through joint efforts by the Pakistan Army and the civil administration.<\/p>\n

This vital route had remained closed for several days, cutting off Skardu\u2019s ground access to other regions and severely disrupting the movement of travelers and essential supplies. However, personnel from the Pakistan Army, Frontier Works Organization (FWO), and National Highway Authority (NHA), under the supervision of senior military and civil leadership, worked tirelessly day and night to restore the road \u2014 completing the task in just 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Now, both passenger and cargo vehicles can travel safely and smoothly on this crucial highway, significantly easing economic and daily life challenges in the region.<\/p>\n
