During the meeting, both sides agreed to further strengthen cooperation in trade, investment, technology, and other sectors.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"483\" data-end=\"750\">Mr. Myaiji Takuma congratulated Maryam Nawaz Sharif on becoming the first female Chief Minister of Punjab and remarked, <em data-start=\"603\" data-end=\"750\">\u201cYour official visit to Japan is not only historic but also marks the first visit of this level by a Pakistani leader in the last three decades.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"752\" data-end=\"1044\">Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed warm wishes for the Japanese leadership and people, stating, <em data-start=\"851\" data-end=\"1044\">\u201cJapan is a model for the world in terms of development, technology, and moral values. We aim to implement Japan\u2019s developmental model in Punjab to bring about real change in public welfare.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1046\" data-end=\"1290\">She further emphasized Punjab\u2019s interest in learning from Japan\u2019s expertise and technology in dealing with natural disasters like earthquakes and floods \u2014 particularly in areas such as earthquake-resistant construction and emergency management.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1292\" data-end=\"1555\">Mr. Takuma appreciated the over 120 development projects launched in Punjab and reiterated that Japan has always valued Pakistan as a friendly nation.
