China places high importance on its relationship with Pakistan and aims to elevate it to even greater heights,\u201d Wang Yi said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"882\" data-end=\"1206\">The Chinese Foreign Minister highlighted the importance of upgrading the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), stating that Beijing is ready to work closely with Islamabad on the second phase of the project, focusing on industrial cooperation, renewable energy, infrastructure development, and agricultural modernization.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1208\" data-end=\"1427\">He further stressed China\u2019s continued support for Pakistan\u2019s sovereignty, regional stability, and counterterrorism efforts, expressing interest in expanding cooperation in emerging sectors like cybersecurity and mining.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1429\" data-end=\"1626\">Speaking at a joint press conference after the meeting, Wang Yi appreciated Pakistan\u2019s hospitality and reiterated China\u2019s support for Pakistan in international forums, including the United Nations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1628\" data-end=\"1907\">Deputy PM Ishaq Dar, in response, praised China\u2019s consistent support and expressed Pakistan\u2019s strong desire to strengthen people-to-people connections and economic cooperation under the CPEC framework.
