Muzaffarabad:\u00a0 <\/strong>The political situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has taken a serious turn as the opposition\u2019s no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister has gained significant traction, with political maneuvering intensifying. At present, it remains unclear which direction the power balance will shift.<\/p>\n

According to political sources, the long-standing deadlock between the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has now been resolved. PML-N has agreed to support PPP in the no-confidence motion, but on the condition of holding early elections.<\/p>\n

To succeed, the no-confidence motion requires a simple majority of 27 members in the 53-member legislative assembly. However, following PML-N\u2019s endorsement, PPP has claimed it now has the backing of 36 members, significantly strengthening its position.<\/p>\n

In response, Azad Kashmir\u2019s Prime Minister, Choudhry Anwarul Haq, has demanded that PPP announce a clear name for the new leader of the house to bring an end to the prevailing political uncertainty.<\/p>\n

Political observers suggest that if the opposition alliance can maintain its numbers, a change of leadership in AJK may become inevitable. Meanwhile, the government is continuing its efforts to secure the support of its remaining allies.<\/p>\n

Sources indicate that a vote on the no-confidence motion is expected in the coming days, signaling a major shift in the political landscape of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
