A powerful explosion rocked a supermarket in the northern Mexican city of Hermosillo on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of at least 23 individuals and leaving 11 others injured, local authorities confirmed.<\/p>\n

Among the victims, several were children, and the blast occurred at a “Waldo\u2019s” store located in the downtown area. Emergency response teams, including firefighters, arrived swiftly on the scene, and the wounded were quickly transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.<\/p>\n

Sonora\u2019s Governor Alfonso Durazo addressed the public in a video message, assuring that the government is providing comprehensive medical and psychological support to the affected families. He also stated that a thorough and transparent investigation has been launched to identify the cause of the explosion and hold those responsible accountable.<\/p>\n

While authorities have ruled out terrorism or intentional foul play at this point, the exact cause of the blast remains under investigation.<\/p>\n
