The government has ramped up its efforts at the parliamentary level to seek approval for the 27th Constitutional Amendment. National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq will convene a meeting of all parliamentary leaders today at the Speaker’s House.<\/p>\n

Leaders from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) have also been invited to attend the meeting. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has entrusted the Speaker with the important task of building consensus through the meeting.<\/p>\n

According to sources, the meeting will focus on developing a strategy and ensuring political coordination for the approval of the constitutional amendment, with the goal of securing a unanimous decision in Parliament.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
