Karachi: The Pakistan Naval Academy recently held the Commissioning Parade for 124 Midshipmen and 32 Short Service Commission (SSC) cadets, marking the successful completion of their training. This event saw 90 Midshipmen and 34 SSC cadets pass out.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was graced by Rear Admiral Ahmed Mohamed Ebrahim Al Bin Ali, the Commander of the Royal Bahrain Naval Force, who attended as the Chief Guest. He was received by Admiral Naveed Ashraf, the Chief of the Naval Staff of Pakistan, upon arrival.<\/p>\n

As an alumnus of the Pakistan Naval Academy, Rear Admiral Al Bin Ali expressed his pride in reviewing the parade at his alma mater. He commended the Pakistan Navy\u2019s professional excellence and its role as a key regional force.<\/p>\n

He also highlighted the Academy\u2019s long-standing tradition of providing high-quality training to cadets from friendly countries. This year\u2019s parade included cadets from Bahrain, Iraq, Djibouti, Sri Lanka, and T\u00fcrkiye, which reflected the Academy’s international cooperation and outreach.<\/p>\n

The Chief Guest also reaffirmed the strong and enduring relationship between Pakistan and Bahrain, noting the shared values and commitment to mutual progress between the two nations. Following the ceremony, several awards were presented to top-performing cadets. Midshipman Muhammad Uzair Abbas received the prestigious Sword of Honour for his overall best performance.<\/p>\n

Midshipman Shahab Ahmed was awarded the Academy’s Dirk for his excellence. Officer Cadet Umar Mukhtar from Pakistan and Officer Cadet Aldhahabi Fahad Husam Fareed from Iraq both won the Chief of the Naval Staff Gold Medal. Officer Cadet Syed Saad Shahid from the SSC course earned the Commandant Gold Medal.<\/p>\n

The Proficiency Banner was awarded to Quarterdeck Squadron for their outstanding achievements during training.<\/p>\n

The event marked a significant milestone in the careers of these cadets, celebrating their dedication and hard work, as well as strengthening the bonds of cooperation and professional excellence across nations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
