The sanctions specifically target <strong data-start=\"621\" data-end=\"635\">12 vessels<\/strong>, along with several corporate entities and individuals. Any assets they hold under US jurisdiction will be <strong data-start=\"743\" data-end=\"753\">frozen<\/strong>, and American citizens and businesses are barred from conducting financial transactions with them.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"856\" data-end=\"1110\">Officials stated that the move aims to <strong data-start=\"895\" data-end=\"922\">cut off revenue streams<\/strong> believed to be financing military procurement and backing allied groups in the region.
