Rawalpindi :<\/strong> Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Syed Asim Munir<\/span><\/span>, Chief of Naval Staff Naveed Ashraf<\/span><\/span>, and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu<\/span><\/span> paid tribute to the bravery, professionalism, and sacrifices of Pakistan\u2019s armed forces personnel on the seventh anniversary of Operation Swift Retort<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations<\/span><\/span> said the operation, carried out on February 27, 2019, was a firm response to what it described as India\u2019s unprovoked aggression, reinforcing Pakistan\u2019s resolve to defend its sovereignty. The statement highlighted that the action demonstrated the Armed Forces\u2019 operational capability and preparedness, successfully deterring further escalation and restoring strategic equilibrium in the region.<\/p>\n

The military leadership reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to safeguarding Pakistan\u2019s national interests and promoting regional stability.
