Islamabad :<\/strong> Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif<\/strong> chaired a high-level consultative session on Wednesday, bringing together leaders and representatives from Pakistan\u2019s parliamentary parties to discuss pressing national and regional challenges and to promote unity in decision-making.<\/p>\n

The meeting emphasized the importance of maintaining a cohesive national stance in the face of ongoing developments. Attendees were briefed in a closed-door session on the Pakistan-Afghanistan situation<\/strong>, unfolding events in Iran<\/strong>, and the broader Middle East and Gulf dynamics, along with Pakistan\u2019s diplomatic responses.<\/p>\n

Political leaders engaged in frank discussions, sharing assessments and perspectives on the current situation. Many praised Pakistan\u2019s ongoing diplomatic efforts to foster regional stability and urged these initiatives to be reinforced. Several proposals were also put forward to guide the country\u2019s future actions.<\/p>\n

The session concluded with a unified commitment from all participants to continue efforts against terrorism and to safeguard national interests. Leaders also acknowledged and appreciated the prime minister\u2019s inclusive approach in consulting political leadership on critical issues.<\/p>\n

Key attendees included Senate Chairman Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani<\/strong>, Deputy Chairman Senate Seyedal Khan<\/strong>, Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq<\/strong>, Deputy Speaker Ghulam Mustafa Shah<\/strong>, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar<\/strong>, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari<\/strong>, and JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Federal ministers present were Ahsan Iqbal<\/strong>, Azam Nazeer Tarar<\/strong>, Attaullah Tarar<\/strong>, and Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry<\/strong>. Party and provincial leaders included Abdul Aleem Khan<\/strong>, Khalid Hussain Magsi<\/strong>, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui<\/strong>, Syed Mustafa Kamal<\/strong>, Faisal Sabzwari<\/strong>, and Chaudhry Salik Hussain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The prime minister was also joined by advisors and special assistants, including Rana Mubashir Iqbal<\/strong>, Rana Sanaullah Khan<\/strong>, and Talha Burki<\/strong>. Senators Sherry Rehman<\/strong>, Anwarul Haq Kakar<\/strong>, and Manzoor Ahmed Kakar<\/strong>, as well as National Assembly members Pervaiz Rashid<\/strong>, Hafiz Abdul Karim<\/strong>, Jan Muhammad<\/strong>, Syed Naveed Qamar<\/strong>, Dr. Farooq Sattar<\/strong>, Amin ul Haq<\/strong>, and Pullain Baloch<\/strong>, also attended.<\/p>\n
