In a high-level meeting at the Prime Minister\u2019s House, it was decided that the weekly public holiday will be observed on Friday to conserve energy and reduce government expenditures.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"517\" data-end=\"913\">The Prime Minister emphasized that, given global economic pressures, austerity and simplicity are the only viable options. A special committee, led by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Ishaq Dar<\/span><\/span>, has been formed to monitor daily savings measures. All initiatives will undergo third-party audits to ensure transparency and proper utilization of public funds.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"915\" data-end=\"1228\">Officials have been instructed to provide photographic records of government vehicles taken out of service as part of austerity measures. Additionally, government offices will strengthen the \u201cwork from home\u201d system, with all ministries required to submit regular detailed reports to the Prime Minister\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1230\" data-end=\"1487\">PM Shehbaz Sharif stated that despite global challenges, the government is taking every possible step to stabilize the economy.
