Islamabad :<\/strong> Japan<\/span><\/span> has commended Pakistan<\/span><\/span> for its diplomatic efforts in helping advance a ceasefire and encouraging dialogue between the United States<\/span><\/span> and Iran<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

The acknowledgment came during a phone call between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif<\/span><\/span> and Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

In their discussion, both leaders reflected on the recent talks held in Islamabad, where Pakistan facilitated engagement between US and Iranian representatives.<\/p>\n

Sanae Takaichi voiced Japan\u2019s backing for continued peace initiatives, noting their importance for regional balance and the stability of global energy supplies.<\/p>\n

Shehbaz Sharif welcomed Japan\u2019s positive remarks and emphasized that Pakistan values the ongoing interaction between Washington and Tehran, reaffirming its commitment to supporting efforts that uphold the ceasefire.<\/p>\n
