Islamabad : Kuwait\u2019s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jabel Al-Sabah<\/span><\/span> has expressed appreciation for Pakistan\u2019s diplomatic efforts during a telephone conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar<\/span><\/span>, according to the Foreign Office (FO).<\/p>\n

The FO statement said the Kuwaiti foreign minister acknowledged Pakistan\u2019s constructive role in hosting and facilitating the Islamabad Talks, noting that these efforts have positively contributed to ongoing diplomatic engagement.<\/p>\n

He commended Pakistan\u2019s involvement in supporting the dialogue process and appreciated the efforts of Ishaq Dar in this regard.<\/p>\n

In response, Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan\u2019s consistent stance in favor of dialogue and peaceful resolution of disputes, emphasizing that diplomatic engagement remains the only viable path forward.<\/p>\n

He reaffirmed Pakistan\u2019s commitment to continued efforts for promoting dialogue-based solutions.<\/p>\n

Both sides also reviewed bilateral relations and agreed to further strengthen cooperation, reaffirming the longstanding friendly ties between Pakistan and Kuwait and pledging to remain in close contact.<\/p>\n

Separately, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar also held a telephone conversation with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand<\/span><\/span>, during which they exchanged views on recent regional developments, including US\u2013Iran talks linked to the Islamabad discussions.<\/p>\n

According to the Foreign Office, the Canadian foreign minister appreciated Pakistan\u2019s role in facilitating diplomatic engagement among relevant stakeholders.<\/p>\n

Ishaq Dar stressed the importance of respecting ceasefire understandings and reiterated Pakistan\u2019s support for dialogue and diplomacy.<\/p>\n

Both ministers agreed to maintain close contact as the situation develops.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
