Islamabad:<\/strong> Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that one year has passed since the Pahalgam incident, but India has still failed to present any credible or concrete evidence to support its claims.<\/p>\n

In a televised statement, he said the incident reflects what he described as \u201cflawed and arrogant thinking\u201d based on unsupported narratives and inconsistent assertions. He added that India has not been able to satisfactorily answer the many questions raised regarding the episode.<\/p>\n

Tarar alleged that India often attributes its internal challenges to external factors while simultaneously labeling internationally disputed issues as domestic matters. He claimed that terrorism inside India is treated differently in its narrative compared to the Kashmir dispute, which he said is globally recognized but portrayed otherwise by New Delhi.<\/p>\n

He further said that India\u2019s version of events has gradually weakened over time and described the Pahalgam incident as part of a repeated pattern of what he termed \u201cfalse flag operations.\u201d He also criticized India\u2019s response to calls for an independent inquiry, noting that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had proposed a transparent investigation, which, according to him, was not accepted.<\/p>\n

Referring to the timing of the FIR, Tarar said its unusually quick registration raised questions due to the distance between the incident site and the police station. He also claimed that concerns had been raised by various international observers, media outlets, and analysts.<\/p>\n

The minister argued that narratives based on misinformation cannot sustain credibility for long and said India has struggled to substantiate its position with verifiable evidence. He also criticized sections of the Indian media for amplifying tensions through unverified reporting.<\/p>\n

Commenting on minority rights, Tarar alleged that minorities in India face discrimination and violence, particularly under extremist ideological influence. He further accused India of engaging in destabilizing activities beyond its borders and referred to past cases and incidents as part of Pakistan\u2019s concerns.<\/p>\n

He claimed that Pakistan has presented evidence of external involvement in security incidents within its territory, including alleged support for militant groups. He cited several past attacks as examples of what he described as cross-border interference.<\/p>\n

Tarar said Pakistan remains committed to eliminating terrorism and stressed national unity in countering security threats. He also warned that any aggressive action from India would be met with a strong response.<\/p>\n

Referring to recent remarks from Indian military leadership, he said such statements reflected frustration. He added that Pakistan\u2019s position had strengthened internationally and described the country as increasingly recognized for its peace-oriented stance.<\/p>\n

The minister credited the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their roles in national security and stability, stating that both civilian and military leadership remain aligned in defending the country.<\/p>\n
