Islamabad : In line with its tradition of humanitarian response at sea, the Pakistan Navy carried out a successful rescue operation in the Arabian Sea, saving foreign crew members stranded due to a technical fault on a commercial vessel.<\/p>\n

Security sources said the ship MV Gautam<\/em>, which was travelling from Oman to India, suffered a mechanical failure while en route, leaving its crew unable to continue the journey.<\/p>\n

As the situation worsened, the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre in Mumbai sought emergency assistance from Pakistani authorities.<\/p>\n

According to Neo News Islamabad Bureau Chief Javed Baloch, the Pakistan Navy immediately responded to the distress call and dispatched the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency vessel Kashmir<\/em> to the location.<\/p>\n

Rescue teams safely evacuated six Indian nationals and one Indonesian crew member from the disabled ship.<\/p>\n

Officials confirmed that the rescued personnel were provided with emergency assistance and care after being brought to safety.<\/p>\n

Security sources added that the Pakistan Navy remains committed to safeguarding lives at sea without discrimination and continues to respond swiftly to maritime emergencies regardless of nationality or background.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
