Washington : US President Donald Trump<\/span><\/span> has suggested that a future meeting with Iran\u2019s top leadership could be on the table, depending on how current diplomatic engagements between Washington and Tehran progress.<\/p>\n

Speaking in an interview, Trump said the United States is actively engaged in talks with Iran\u2019s leadership and noted that a direct meeting with Iran\u2019s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei<\/span><\/span> \u201ccould take place at some stage,\u201d while emphasizing that any such development would depend on changing circumstances.<\/p>\n

He added that ongoing negotiations with Iran may produce constructive results, although he cautioned that the situation remains uncertain and could shift quickly.<\/p>\n

Trump also revealed that he had a heated phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu<\/span><\/span>, during which he expressed strong frustration over Israel\u2019s continued military operations in Lebanon. He reportedly described the call as tense and driven by anger.<\/p>\n

According to American media reports, Trump allegedly used sharp language during the conversation, including criticism directed at Netanyahu over his handling of the regional situation.<\/p>\n

The US president further stated that Iran has committed not to develop nuclear weapons and suggested that progress in talks could contribute to easing global oil prices.<\/p>\n
