Rawalpindi :<\/strong> Security forces killed 14 terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Naal area of Basima district, Balochistan, the military\u2019s media wing said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), intelligence reports indicated the presence of militants linked to an Indian proxy network, referred to as \u201cFitna al Hindustan,\u201d who were allegedly planning attacks on a police station and banks in the area.<\/p>\n

The ISPR stated that following the information, security forces launched a swift intelligence-based operation to foil the planned attacks.<\/p>\n

During the operation, troops effectively engaged the terrorists, and after an intense exchange of fire, 14 militants were killed while several others were injured.<\/p>\n

The statement added that four vehicles used by the terrorists, along with improvised explosive devices (IEDs), were also destroyed on the spot.<\/p>\n

It further said that sanitization operations are underway to clear the area of any remaining militants.<\/p>\n

Reaffirming its commitment, the ISPR said the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of \u201cAzm-e-Istehkam\u201d will continue with full force to eliminate terrorism from the country.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
