Islamabad : Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday praised the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) for its role as an important coalition partner, saying the party has played a constructive part in efforts to strengthen economic stability, promote development, and support public welfare initiatives.<\/p>\n

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister\u2019s Office, the prime minister made these remarks during a meeting with an MQM-P delegation, where he emphasized the importance of coalition partners in advancing the government\u2019s agenda focused on economic stability, development, and improved public service delivery.<\/p>\n

The MQM-P delegation was led by Convener and Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui. It included Federal Minister for National Health Services Syed Mustafa Kamal, along with Members of the National Assembly Farooq Sattar, Aminul Haque, and Javed Hanif.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif described MQM-P as a valuable ally, appreciating its continued cooperation in national progress and economic stability. He expressed hope that such collaboration among political partners would continue in the broader national interest.<\/p>\n

The discussion also included detailed consultations on the federal budget for the financial year 2026\u201327. Both sides exchanged views on economic planning, key priority areas, and measures aimed at providing relief to the public while maintaining economic growth.<\/p>\n

Participants also reviewed the country\u2019s current political situation and discussed matters of mutual interest.<\/p>\n
