Case in point: The war on Iran. Now, an even bigger miscalculation on the Strait of Hormuz,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The Iranian foreign minister also cautioned Washington against relying on inaccurate intelligence, saying, \u201cWorse than fake news is fake intelligence. Be careful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Concluding his message, Araghchi invoked his faith, writing, \u201cAllah is Great, Greater than ANY power on Earth. In Allah we trust.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His remarks followed US President Donald Trump\u2019s assertion that Washington had \u201ctotal control\u201d over the Strait of Hormuz. Trump made the claim on his Truth Social account on Wednesday and added, \u201cI THINK WE WILL KEEP IT,\u201d amid continued tensions following the US-Israeli war with Iran.<\/p>\n<p>Despite Trump\u2019s claim, maritime activity through the strategically important waterway remains at significantly reduced levels.
