{"id":8718,"date":"2026-09-09T20:11:27","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T15:11:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/youdigital.pk\/en\/?p=8718"},"modified":"2026-09-09T20:11:27","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T15:11:27","slug":"kp-governor-rewards-nurse-for-brave-baby-rescue-during-pims-fire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/youdigital.pk\/en\/2026\/09\/09\/kp-governor-rewards-nurse-for-brave-baby-rescue-during-pims-fire","title":{"rendered":"KP Governor rewards nurse for brave baby rescue during PIMS fire"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Islamabad :<\/strong> Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has recognized Nurse Razia Noreen for her bravery and quick response during a recent fire at the nursery of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).<\/p>\n<p>Razia Noreen was presented with a cash award of Rs100,000 and a special shield in appreciation of her efforts to rescue a baby from the affected area during the incident.<\/p>\n<p>The award ceremony was held at the Governor House in Islamabad and was attended by Minority Leader Samuel Pyara and PIMS Deputy Chief Nursing Shazia.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing the gathering, Governor Kundi said nursing was a noble profession rooted in compassion, care and dedication to serving humanity.<\/p>\n<p>He commended Razia Noreen for showing exceptional courage and professionalism during the emergency, saying her actions deserved recognition and appreciation at the national level.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe entire Pakistani nation pays tribute to Nurse Razia for her exemplary role,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The governor further said her bravery, commitment to duty and concern for others reflected the highest values of humanity.
