Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast a new and potentially intense spell of monsoon rains in various parts of the country from August 23 to August 27.
In light of the forecast, citizens have been advised to take precautionary measures, while relevant authorities have been instructed to remain on alert.
According to the Met Office, strong monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal are expected to penetrate the upper parts of the country from August 22, which may result in widespread rainfall in the coming days.
