ISLAMABAD: Sahir Associates clinched the President’s Trophy Grade-II title in emphatic fashion, crushing MIT Solutions by 355 runs in the final at Abbottabad Cricket Stadium.
The unbeaten champions sealed promotion to Grade-I, capping off a stellar campaign with five wins and four draws.
Bowlers Seal Decisive Win
Set an improbable 587-run target, MIT Solutions collapsed for 231 in just 37.2 overs, with pacer Khan Zeb (5-73) dismantling the batting lineup. Only Mohammad Bilal (70 off 66) and Husnain Nadeem (54 off 38) offered resistance before a dramatic middle-order collapse saw five wickets fall for 36 runs.

Resuming at 367-7, Sahir Associates posted 449 in their second innings, powered by Fahad Usman’s 158 and Mohsin Khan’s 68. Kaleem Ullah (5-83) fought hard for MIT Solutions, but the champions’ all-round dominance proved insurmountable.
With this victory, Sahir Associates now prepare for the elite President’s Trophy Grade-I, marking their ascent as a rising force in Pakistan’s domestic cricket.
