Islamabad: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has stated that if Afghanistan does not stop its support for the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), the relationship between Pakistan and Afghanistan will never return to normal.
Speaking to the media, Khawaja Asif pointed out that Afghanistan continues to violate Pakistan’s borders, and Pakistan is taking strong measures to safeguard its security.
He also made it clear that despite investing in Afghanistan over the past 40 years, Pakistan has seen no benefits from these efforts.
Khawaja Asif further added that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is gradually becoming isolated and emphasized that the country cannot be run solely under the leadership of Imran Khan (referred to as “Niazi”).
