Islamabad: Pakistani intelligence agencies have successfully thwarted an alleged Indian espionage attempt, arresting a fisherman named Ejaz Malah. Malah is accused of attempting to acquire sensitive materials and military uniforms for India’s intelligence agency.
Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar confirmed that the arrested individual had confessed to the crime. From his possession, SIM cards, matches, lighters, and other items were recovered.
State Minister for Interior Talal Chaudhry described the incident as a failed propaganda campaign by India, emphasizing that Pakistan’s timely action had ensured national security, preventing the success of the Indian espionage mission.
