New Chief Justices Appointed to Four Key High Courts Following Presidential Nod

 

Islamabad:The leadership of four of Pakistan’s prominent High Courts has been reshuffled with the formal appointment of new Chief Justices. After securing approval from President Asif Ali Zardari, the Ministry of Law and Justice has officially released appointment notifications, signaling a new chapter for these judicial institutions.

Justice Sarfraz Dogar has assumed the position of Chief Justice at the Islamabad High Court. Justice S.M. Atiq Shah has been assigned to lead the Peshawar High Court. Justice Rozi Khan will now oversee the Balochistan High Court, while Justice Junaid Ghafar takes charge as Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court. These appointments follow the recommendations made by the Judicial Commission of Pakistan, underscoring the ongoing efforts to reinforce judicial leadership nationwide.
