Islamabad :Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Defense Minister Yaşar Güler arrived at the Foreign Office Islamabad today as part of their official visit. They were graciously welcomed by Ishaq Dar, who holds the dual roles of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.
Following their arrival, the foreign ministers of both countries are scheduled to hold a meeting, followed by a joint press conference where discussions on bilateral relations, regional cooperation, and matters of mutual interest are expected.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the visit by the Turkish delegation exemplifies the longstanding and close ties between Pakistan and Turkey. During their stay, the Turkish delegation is also scheduled to meet with Pakistan’s Prime Minister, senior government officials, and military leadership.
Pakistan and Turkey share deep diplomatic, defense, and economic relations, and this visit is seen as a significant step toward further strengthening these bonds.
