Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, visited the Guddu Barrage amid rising flood concerns to review the situation firsthand. During his inspection, he was updated by officials on the barrage’s water discharge rates, safety protocols, and the potential threats posed to nearby communities.
Expressing deep concern for the affected populations, Bilawal directed authorities to intensify relief operations and provide immediate support to those impacted by the flooding. He assured that the PPP leadership stands in full solidarity with the flood victims and emphasized that all necessary steps must be taken to prevent any delays or shortcomings in aid delivery.
