Security forces kill 8 Indian-backed terrorists in Kalat IBO: ISPR

Rawalpindi : Security forces successfully killed 8 Indian-sponsored terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Kalat District of Balochistan, according to a statement released by the military’s media wing on Thursday.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the operation took place on December 24, 2025, in response to intelligence about the presence of terrorists linked to the Indian proxy group, Fitna al Hindustan.

The statement stated, “During the operation, security forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location. After an intense exchange of fire, eight terrorists were killed.”

Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the militants, who were involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region.

The ISPR further mentioned that sanitization operations are underway to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists from the area.

“The relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under the strategic vision of ‘Azm e Istehkam,’ approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue at full speed to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan,” the statement added.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for their success in the Kalat operation, which led to the killing of the eight terrorists linked to Fitna al Hindustan.

In his statement, the prime minister highlighted that under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” strategic vision, Pakistan’s armed forces continue to achieve significant victories in the fight against terrorism.

He also reiterated the nation’s unity in supporting the military’s efforts to safeguard national security and vowed the government would leave no stone unturned in eliminating all forms of terrorism from the country.
