Islamabad: More than 527 Afghan Taliban fighters have been killed and over 755 injured since the launch of Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar revealed on his official X account.
According to the minister, security forces have neutralized 237 militant checkpoints, while 38 others were captured and subsequently destroyed during the ongoing campaign.
Tarar added that the operation has inflicted significant damage on the militants’ military resources, including the destruction of over 200 tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery systems.
He also confirmed that aerial strikes targeted 62 locations across Afghanistan, forming a key part of the continuing operation aimed at eliminating militant strongholds.
