Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has left for China from Lahore on a five-day official visit.
According to details, the President departed for China via Lahore Airport. Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan was present to see him off and extended his best wishes for the journey.
The Governor also prayed for the success of the President’s visit.
The official trip is being seen as significant in the context of strengthening Pakistan–China relations, boosting economic cooperation, and expanding collaboration in multiple sectors of mutual interest.
