Two terrorists killed, three injured in Intelligence-Based Operation in Balochistan

Quetta : Security forces killed two terrorists and injured three others during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Killi Zaik area on Monday, according to security sources.

The operation was carried out in the area between Killi Zaik and Kaghli, located around 12 kilometres north of the Baseema camp. The action was launched after intelligence agencies received information about the presence of suspected militants in the area.

During the operation, security personnel recovered a cache of ammunition along with hand grenades, magazines and specialised equipment believed to have been used in the preparation of improvised explosive devices (IEDs), the sources said.

The operation was conducted as part of the ongoing Operation Rad-ul-Fitna-3, a counterterrorism campaign aimed at disrupting and dismantling militant networks allegedly linked to Indian proxies.

The latest operation came a day after security forces carried out another intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Kharan district. According to security sources, seven Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed during the action.

The Kharan operation was launched in the Lajay area after security agencies received intelligence regarding the presence of militants there. Security forces moved to the area and conducted the operation as part of ongoing efforts to eliminate terrorist threats and prevent militant activities in the province.
