Goodbye 2025, Welcome 2026! The new year has arrived in Pakistan with grand celebrations. Fireworks lit up the skies in cities like Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad, as people took to the streets to welcome the new year with excitement.
In Lahore, crowds gathered at Minar Pakistan and Liberty Chowk, where dazzling fireworks illuminated the night. In Islamabad, Shaheen Chowk witnessed an impressive firework display, and to facilitate the celebrations, the Shaheen Chowk underpass was opened for traffic.
Karachi’s Governor House also joined in the celebrations with a spectacular fireworks show. During the event, prayers were offered for national security, peace, and prosperity.
