Lahore: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab has issued a forecast predicting heavy stormy rains in the upper regions of the province from October 5 to 7.
According to the PDMA spokesperson, rainfall is expected to begin in the upper river areas on October 5, potentially causing flooding.
Commissioners and deputy commissioners have been instructed to boost their preparedness and ensure effective emergency response measures are in place.
PDMA has also urged the public to take necessary safety precautions during the rainfall and to strictly follow official guidelines.
