CM Maryam Nawaz launches Pakpattan electric bus service, driving punjab’s development forward

Pakpattan: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, while addressing the ceremony for the launch of electric buses in Pakpattan, stated that development in Punjab is not confined to major cities alone; efforts are underway to improve the welfare of people in every region.

She emphasized that public funds are being spent transparently for the benefit of the citizens. Now, with electric buses, traveling anywhere costs only 20 rupees, which is even cheaper than the fare of a rickshaw (Chingchi). Maryam Nawaz remarked that no one had ever imagined buses running in cities like Mianwali, Sargodha, and Sahiwal, but today, that vision has turned into reality.

Highlighting the success of the “Clean Punjab” initiative, the Chief Minister said Pakpattan has transformed into a cleaner and more pleasant city than ever before. She added that people from other provinces also appreciate this cleanliness and aspire to have the same in their own areas.
