Sikhs for Justice to Hold Protest Outside Indian Embassy on August 15

 

Washington, D.C.: The U.S.-based advocacy group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) has announced plans to stage a protest outside the Indian Embassy in Washington on August 15, coinciding with India’s Independence Day. The group also stated that the Indian national flag will be burned during the demonstration.

Furthermore, the organization has announced plans to conduct a Khalistan Referendum on August 17.

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a key figure in the organization, claimed that India will face division by the year 2047, and emphasized that the protest is intended to highlight the treatment of minorities in India to the international community.
