ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated the Jinnah Square Murree Road Underpass project aimed at ensuring hassle-free travel for commuters.
Speaking at the ceremony in Islamabad, the Prime Minister commended Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, the project contractor, and the Capital Development Authority (CDA) team for completing the underpass in a remarkable 35 days.
Ongoing Efforts to Enhance Islamabad’s Infrastructure
Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi spoke about the government’s continuous efforts to beautify the Federal Capital.
He highlighted initiatives such as improved street lighting and announced upcoming plans for widening the bridge at Faizabad Chowk.
Additionally, the government is devising solutions to ease traffic congestion at key points including Shaheen Chowk and Kashmir Chowk.
These projects collectively aim to improve traffic flow and commuter convenience, contributing to the overall development and modernization of Islamabad’s infrastructure.
