Sana Yousuf’s Murder: Accused Confesses Motive in Court

ISLAMABAD: In a chilling courtroom confession, 22-year-old Umar Hayat admitted to the murder of 17-year-old social media influencer Sana Yousuf, citing revenge as his motive for the shocking crime.

The confession was recorded under Section 164 of the Pakistan Penal Code before Judicial Magistrate Saad Nazir.

Revenge-Fueled Tragedy

Hayat claimed that repeated rejection by Sana Yousuf led him to commit the heinous act.

According to his statement, he had once brought a birthday gift for Sana, but was turned away and deeply hurt.

On June 2, Sana allegedly invited him for another meeting. When that too didn’t materialize, Hayat said he lost control.

He forced his way into her home and shot her twice in the chest, resulting in her death on the spot.
