Islamabad: Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, met today with Gregory D. Lugerfo, the Acting Coordinator for Counterterrorism of the United States, to discuss ongoing efforts under the Pakistan-US Counterterrorism Dialogue.
According to a statement from the Foreign Office spokesperson, the meeting included a detailed briefing on the current status of counterterrorism collaboration between the two countries.
Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized the importance of continuous, well-coordinated cooperation in combating terrorism and highlighted that these joint initiatives are crucial for ensuring long-term peace and stability in the region.
Both sides acknowledged the significance of their partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing mutual efforts aimed at fostering security and stability in South Asia.
