Abu Dhabi : The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled its updated ODI player rankings, bringing notable movement across the batting, bowling, and all-rounder categories.
New Zealand batter Daryl Mitchell continues to lead the ODI batting rankings, while India’s Virat Kohli retains second place. Afghanistan’s Ibrahim Zadran occupies third position, with India’s Shubman Gill ranked fifth.
Pakistan’s former skipper Babar Azam has held onto sixth place in the batting charts. However, Salman Ali Agha slipped five spots and is now ranked 14th among ODI batters.
Among bowlers, Afghanistan star Rashid Khan remains at the summit of the rankings. England pacer Jofra Archer is second, while South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj occupies third place.
Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed registered one of the biggest gains in the latest update, rising seven places to fourth position. Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi also moved up the list, climbing four spots to 13th.
In the ODI all-rounders’ standings, Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai continues to lead the rankings. Zimbabwe veteran Sikandar Raza is second, followed by Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi in third place.
For Pakistan, Salman Ali Agha dropped one position to 11th in the all-rounders’ rankings, while Shadab Khan retained his 75th-place standing.
