Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz visits flood-affected areas of nowshera, reviews relief arrangements

Gujranwala: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif paid a visit to the flood-affected areas in Nowshera to assess the progress of ongoing rescue and relief operations. Accompanied by Provincial Information Minister Azma Bukhari, Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, and Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, she closely monitored the situation on the ground.

The official convoy moved through Sohadra Mor reception area before reaching the heavily inundated localities of Talwara and Sohadra. During her visit, Maryam Nawaz stressed the importance of delivering prompt and comprehensive aid to the victims, assuring that the government is deploying all necessary resources to facilitate immediate support.

The delegation was escorted by a strong presence of district officials and security forces as they left Talwara Chowk and continued their mission to further affected sites.
